Blood Ties | Book Conversion

I will be converting my short story Blood Ties (can read it for free here) into a short film.  Expected recording dates will be around Summer of 2020.  I will be looking for the following filmmakers (low budget project) in the Central Pennsylvania area.  To submit please fill out the appropriate forms listed below.  Links to your works (required) & IMDb page (if applicable).  I will get back to people around Summer of this year (2019), so if you don't hear from me right away, it doesn't mean I am not considering you, I am just not ready to start actively picking the crew.  I also have a funding campaign for the production company on Indigogo here, if anyone could share, donate, etc I would appreciate it.  Thank you all and can't wait to see this film be made.

The Ruthless Gentleman | ARC Review

Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of the book, in exchange, I was to give an honest review.

First off, let me state that Louise Bay did it again.  I found the novel beautifully written.  The characters felt so authentic because of their well-thought back stories, growth throughout the novel, and their morals they grew up with.  The stand-alone novella had a satisfying ending that left little cliff hangers but could easily be turned into a sequel.  My favorite character was Hayden Wolf, the business tycoon from London.

The only negative I found was that the plot structure seemed like “The British Knight” which was the first novel I read of hers earlier this year.  However, that did not detract from the read.  The characters had different history, growth, and events in the story.  The overall story was engaging and was easy to read.  This one took me about 3 days to finish.  I was super reluctant to put the book down.  I would recommend reading this to my friends.  This is also one of the rare novels I would gladly re-read in the near future.

This review was created May 13, 2018 (did not have a website at the time).  To view my YouTube review of the book, please click on the image below.

The British Knight | Book Review

The British Knight (part of the Royals Collection) by Louise Bay

"The British Knight" is the first title I read by Louise Bay.  I found the story interesting and the characters to be believable.  I couldn't put the book down for very long, so ended up finishing it within two days of purchase.  As much as I enjoyed the novel, and would recommend it to others, I do not feel that this book was enough for me to read a second time.  I give it 3 out of 5.  I do plan on reading more by this author and will post more reviews as I do so.

Into the Badlands: Seasons 1-2 | TV Series Review

The wars were so long ago nobody even remembers. Darkness and fear ruled until the time of the barons, seven men and women who forged order out of chaos. People flocked to them for protection. That protection became servitude. They banished guns and trained armies of lethal fighters they called Clippers. This world is built on blood. Nobody is innocent here. Welcome to the Badlands.  - Wikipedia page

The series is set about 500 years after a war destroyed civilization.  Below is my Stardust reviews for the first two seasons.
*I compile reviews on an app called Stardust & add them together in a video.  After all the episodes are completed I talk about the season as a whole, as well as predictions for future seasons.

SHADOWHUNTERS IS BACK - The 'Final Hunt' Has Begun! | Episode Review

After the LONG anticipated wait for the series, Shadowhutners: The Mortal Instruments has come back.  Season 3B debuted on Freeform (US) on Monday, February 25th, 2019.  Before I get into the topic, I would like to warn you all that there will be SPOILERS ahead!  So if you haven't watched the episode yet I highly recommend watching it before continuing with the article.

We ended the first half of the season with Clary seeming to be blown up and wiped out of existence, along with her corpse of a brother (Jonathan Morgenstern).  In the premier, you find out that he teleported the apartment to Siberia before the explosion actually happened.  Simon, Jace, and the others believe her to be dead.

The review for the episode is below.  I will re-visit Shadowhutners after the series ends.
